Duck, Duck...Goose...?

Couple of pictures from the other day. I watched this duck..or goose..I guess...play in the water and got a couple of fun pictures.

Nice captures. Especially the first one...the duck (yes, it's a duck) looks like it's looking at you through that water...I like them very much.

edit...Just can't get over how sharp that is...what lens did you use? And any PP?

Photo # 1 is better cause I can see the water stopped in motion, and the look...#2 is good too...

#1 > #2 for sure but they are both nice. They are both creative with the water being flung... I like that.

Thanks for the comments! I used my sigma 70-300 for this and just did some sharpening, slight levels adjustment and cropped. These pictures were taken on an overcast kinda gloomy day. I get a lot of noise when I bump up the ISO, so the originals are a bit underexposed and I lightened them up in PP. I'm very happy with this lens, especially for price, only $129! It will work fine until I cant get the 70-200L!

This one is my daughters favorite, she thinks the duck is smiling at her.
