Just got it Today. I have set the flash to the flash buster sign, but it still seems to fire. Is there a way to stop it from Zapping, whilst still using the red AF assist light? Thank you in Advance.

What you are seeing is the preflash that sets off the other flashes. The Sigma and Canon master flashes communicate with slave flashes using that pre-flash. The ST-2 also has that flash, but since it's red, you won't notice it.

I've heard of others using the focus light in manual mode, but nothing that has been really useful.
