bug in FVU 1.3.2

The FVU 1.3.2 Update does not install correctly (on Windows XP). During the update process the desktop icon is lost and it is not possible to access the updated program by clicking on the entry in the start menu. The program opens and closes immediately. The only way to access the program is by using the RAW editing option in the ZoomBowser. Has anybody encountered a similar problem and what could be done to solve the problem?

I just installed it and it works without any problem, both from ZoomBrowser and directly from the desktop. Even Xp is still Plug & Pray ;-).

I agree with your remark on Windows XP!!!

I decided to take a look at C1 LE and was pleasantly surprised how fast the RAW images show on the screen. I think I will chip in the $99 and forget the Canon software.

Or try BreezeBrowser from http://www.breezesys.com, it will cost you about half of that amount (but maybe doesn't have all the functionalities).
