I still have some images to muddle through but I thought I'd need some critique on my first crack at it.

My "shot". I feel I nailed it right here. They are Quebecers and big fans of sepia tones so I included it for your thoughts.

Literally getting my feet wet with a wedding.

Not my pick of the litter but the bride and my wife love this shot.

I should have some more up on my coppermine gallery for Sunday if anyone asks.

Beautiful series..I love the "Sunset L'Amour" shot! I also love the bright blues of the ocean and the sky...care to share your pp on those? Very nice...Aloha

I do a little histogram repair with levels to make up for me not paying attention to the camera or light.

Unsharp mask in two passes:

1st - %166, 0.3, 0
2nd - %15, 100, 0

Of course I use a polarizer (except on first shot)

Nice photos, well done :) #1 apply a vignette. #2 wide angle lens are bad for people, but I like it anyway. CS2 lens correction filter will make her head look less long (unless her head is just like that). #3 not bad, expressions not ideal, do levels, vignette.

One thing I like about the 17-55 F2.8 is the automatic vignette ;)

Thanks Tim. As for #3 I wanted to not include it in the presentation to the bride. But my wife almost killed me. Turns out they both loved it. I don't care for it at all.

You dig the vignette eh?

lovely shots. #1 is my fav. I do think the vignette is over used (suggested) though.

I really like #1, but it doesn't look sepia to me, just muddy. Maybe it's my screen, though. A vignette would look nice on that one. Her face doesn't look that long in the 1st & 3rd, so maybe do fix #2 in PS. The colors are very nice in the 2nd.

Nice work cosworth. I absolutely love the last two. The sepia one, I would add some contrast to it, but that is to my taste.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll add some contrast and play with some vignetting. See what painting outside the usual lines can bring.

Very nice Jason, hope the new job has slowed down a bit and you guys are getting to enjoy your new home a little more.

We're settled and the "routine" has crept in. Feels better. Now that I've got the light sorted and my gear setup right, I can start painting outside the lines.

anyone need a working vacation? I can get a good rate for you at Club Med!

great work..#1 and 2 are awesome. in #1..any way to doctor the photo to reduce the wrinkles around her eyes? along with vingetting...I'm sure it would be a great way to make her say, "I look years younger"!!
