avi conversion

I just took a bunch of pictures and movies with my A80 for Christmas and I would like to make some VCDs for my family. However, my VCD program (Magix movie to CD and DVD) can't read the AVIs, and no other program I've searched for can read them to convert the AVIs to an MPEG for VCD.

Lots of programs say they work with AVI, but apparently not with MJPEG AVI, which I guess is what Canon uses. Can someone please help me?

I'm not sure but you may try with VirtualDub
