These Port Lincoln Parrots are the local/western variation of the Mallee Ringneck. They are also known as 28's or 28 parrot in South West Western Australia due to their call resembling 28, 28.
Exif: 1/250, f9.0, ISO100, 75-300 @ 300, hand held. C&C welcome.

Nice shots Trace, too bad the metal pipe is there and a little underexposure, it takes away from it being a great shot.

Nice Parrot Trace. I haven't seen these before. Too bad you couldn't have asked him to sit on the star picket in the background of no 1. Nice work still.

Thanks for viewing and comments. Greg, that's actually an old railway iron/track used for fence posts on some parts of the property. I do have some of it sittig on star droppers and wooden fence posts but they're a bit blown due to the angle and morning sun. They are around all the time so will certainly get more.
