Well...Here are their ratings at resellerratings.com: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1859-p3-s1-d1.html
They have high ratings, but they do have several very negative ratings. Some of their one-liner ratings look kinda fishy too. The advantage is that they are NOT located in New York. I have them bookmarked on my browser and I think I have made a purchase from them though I cannot remember what I bought. Maybe batteries or a CF card or something. I don't really remember.
What are you trying to buy and why do you want to buy it from them?
Anyoen else have any experience with these guys?

well my #1 choice is always B&H, but I am getting the canon 400 5.6 and B&H is out of stock, and I am going on a 'photography' trip in a week to Mt. Whitny and I want a long lens, so I found it at bestprice and will get it if I think it is not a scamy place.

Adorama has them in stock: http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=details&sid=1072570572390401&sku=CA40056AFU
Samys also has them in stock: http://www.samys.com/browse.php?RECORDS_TO_RETURN=10&FIRST_RECORD_NUMBER=31&MANUFACTURER=Canon&CATEGORY=35+Lens+Canon&FOUND=57
And Canoga Camera also has them in stock: http://www.canogacamera.com/e/env/0001WUcjGOJStk8hAE6b2h0/index.html?link=/menupages/lenses.html
(Could not link directly to the lens at Canoga)
All three much better choices, and VERY trusted sources.

adorama says that it is out of stock, the problem with the other 2 is that I am in CA, so I would have to pay tax, so I want to buy it out of state.

Oops. Sorry about that. They certainly are. I'm out of sources now. If your going to try that other place, I'd phone my order in. They do have an 800 number. Let us know how it goes with them to see if we can add them to the trusted list.

I purchased my 10D through them in the beginning of the year, had no problems whatsover. I normally buy everything through B&H, but they were the only ones who had the camera in stock at the time.

I purchased my D60 from them in May, 2002. They overnight shipped the camera for free and never ever tried any funny business or promised the camera before it was available. Overall, a very good experience. Keep in mind, this was 19 months ago. At the time I ordered they had an extremely high rating with resellerratings.com.

I purchased a 17-40 through them when the lens was released for $699. I ordered it online and it showed instock. The next day they called to say it was out of stock, that their system had a error and they canceled the order. They stated that they were receiving 3-6 every 10 days or so and I could be put on a waiting list. They called a week or so later, asked if I still wanted it, processed my order and I had it within three days. I would do business again if the price or availability was better than the B&H. Adorama etc.
