Was at Thruxton on Saturday for the British Formula 3 (no GT's *sad*) and support qualifying/races. Weather was pretty crummy, so stayed at the chicane all day. I know it's lazy I just don't get on with the Complex and the chicane is usally pretty interesting *wink*.

Here's a few compressed "forum friendly sized" photos... must admit there's nothing I'm overly happy with, a sprinkling of rain always seems to add something though...

#1 Classic F3. Early morning sun is always harsh...

#2 VW Cup is always good fun, especially the Caddy *wink*

#3 Nearly!!

#4 A not so friendly wave from Mr Tandy *wink*

#5 Out came the rain for the Formula 3's... Here's Maro Engel with Bruno Senna in his spray...

#6 This "important" chap did a good job of standing in the way...

#7 More typical "VW Cup" action in the afternoon race...

Anyway, there you go. Was considering going today (Sunday) but looked at the weather and preferred a day in front of the box with F1 and BSB :p Wonder if anyone here braved it?

C&C welcome as ever.

Cheers

Nice work Az. I particularly like #7. Perhaps it's a little unfair but if that's his choice of racing line it isn't hard to imagine how the front end got that way! ;)

I did brave the Sunday weather and I might post some shots later.

p.s. Your "observer" was there on Sunday too but he kept well out of the way. Did someone have a word?

Cheers Gleen. #7 was probably my favourite as well, along with the kerb hopping Caddy :p

Just seen your thread, and jeez it was raining  :p
