113974113975These beautiful looking clouds turned into a rather nasty storm. Not so easy to catch lightening in the day time ;)
Regards Alan.

It's certainly not Durham, methinks!

Well done with both of these - that's the first daytime lightening shot I have ever seen!

To replace a shot in a post I imagine you just click on the edit box at the bottom of the post and delete the old one. then insert the new one - just like editing the text really.

Thanks for looking Dimitri, yes it is beautiful. The village is called Agios Gordios and is situated on the West coast of Corfu which is an island just of the coast of mainland Greece. ( just had a great holiday there )

Thanks for the kind comments Mike, yes it's difficult to get a daytime lightening shot. This storm was reasonably stationary for quite a while so I was able to set up and point at a probable area. The main problem of course was too much light for a long exposure so I piled everything I had with me onto the lens, 17-40 @22mm ( a circ polariser and a P120 grad. ) ISO 100, f22 gave me 2 secs. and just kept hitting the remote cord - I think I got this one out of pos. 50. It was worth the effort though. Got some later that night!
Many thanks and kind regards Alan.

Lightning is cool, but I really like the 1st shot. Looks like a place I would like to visit. You got a good view from that spot.
