Fuzzy black line in bottom of image

Hi,

I keep getting a black fuzzy line in my images with my studio lights. and its not consistent.. i shoot with a 5d, and have the Profoto 2400 battery. I use a 250 shutter speed, and i keep getting this line..

can anyone help

Try shooting at 1/200. The sync speed is 1/200, not 1/250 on the 5D.

While the 30D has a 1/250 shutter speed, the instruction manual advises 1/125 with studio lights. I don't know if the 5D has similar instructions. If you still get a piece of the second shutter curtain at 1/200, try a slower shutter speed.

When all else fails, read the manual. ;)
