Just bought a stratos bracket and it seems a little shaky from the shoe cord to the flash... not too sturdy. This is my first time with a bracket. I just really don't want to drop my flash. It seems there could be something more solid to hold the flash to the bracket. Any similar problems or suggestions?
Thanks

I'm not sure I understand.
Are you talking about where the flash foot attaches to the hotshoe end of the sync cord? If that's wobbly then it has nothing to do with the bracket.
How do you have the hotshoe end of the sync cord (the end that attaches to the flash) attached to the bracket? Is it clamped on or screwed directly to the bracket?
I'm not familiar with the Stratos brand. Can you provide a link to some pictures?

I have it attached by a screw and I guess that's what seems a bit flimsy. I'll have to find the link.

The screw going into the bottom of the end of the cable is by far the best way to attach it. Possibly the screw is a bit too long and bottoming out in the threads? Could be all you need is a washer under the screw head. I also use a rubber washer between the bracket and the sync cord end to provide a bit of cushion and prevent twisting.
