I have sucessfully upgraded my 1.5rc4 install to 2.0. The groups that I had setup are not showing up on the index page.
When I look at the structure page they show up as "(Orphaned)". How do I Adopt them? (couldn't resist)

Click INDEX group, then select groups from the right and save.
Also, you do not see groups if the structure does not contain exhibitions that are allowed for user.

I did that and still orphaned. Also some strange behavior from EE. I have attached. Second image is after clicking on index. http://www.btoups.com/host/structureeditor.jpg
I have to click on the sort by name at the bottom to get them to show up again.
May be related to why the names are showing up orphaned.
I have PMed you the info for my admin page so you can take a look.
Thanks.

The problem was that public user did not have permission to view any exhibits.
Now I have another problem, None of my photos are viewable. I just get photo not available at this time.
I ran the photo report and this is what I got.

Go back and follow the installation instructions.
You skipped: Updating photo size database (if not more things).

Yes, EE shows a missing photo if
a) in basecode/SETUP_settings.php $s_use_notavailable = "1";
and
b) photo sizes are not retrieved or are 0 in either x or y direction.

And also, the orphan display might be confusing if you do not know it is related to selected user preview. Sorry for not mentioning that.

Wow, do I feel like an idiot. I managed to skip a large section of the install. Thanks for pointing it out segal.

Ok now that I have gone through ALL the setup procedures I am still getting "This photo is momentarily not available"
I did the Update Photo Size and changed $s_use_notavailable = "1";
I should say that when viewing the photo page it appears that the image is downloading just not displaying. (If I click large in the bottom right of the photo frame it takes a long time to load and lot of data is being transmitted)
I have been through the setup procedures several time now to make sure I did not miss anything and still having problems.
EDIT: Found another issue
On the Index page for my groups the Microthumbs are not showing properly. Some Exhibits have them and some do not.

That's a known issue - see here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=223695). Short answer - it's an IE6 bug, but precisely what IE6 is getting wrong is not understood at this stage. On my gallery setup, if I select Thumbs, one gallery has thumbs in IE6. If I select Microthumbs, no galleries have thumbs in IE6.
Firefox gets it right.
I plan to work on this a bit to see if I can sort it out - but it has to wait behind other things. At the moment, I'm working on a better setup to debug EE.
Can I suggest that all traffic about the IE6 bug goes in the bug thread I already started about this.

Yep, firefox works for the index. But I still cannot view the full photos.
