Some Noise when focus in zoom mode.

Dear all,

Would any G3 uses notices when you in zoom ( 4x zoom whatever ).. during focus which have some little len's moving noise ( compared with G2, G2 is nothing this noise ) ?? Is it normal or my G3 have problem??

"Noise" is sound... is not picture quility....

Hi Simon,
I can't imagine a camera not making any noise when zooming in or out. When you push the button a little electric motor will have to start running in order to move the lens. Or do you mean you hear the lens itself making contact sounds? My G3 isn't quiet when zooming, but I wouldn't expect otherwise.

Agreed your points.. maybe I own G2 also.. so compared with G2, G3 have more noise (sound)....

But I also found out.... maybe I am wrong.. I found G2 photo quility is better then G3! ( maybe G3 always lost focus... )....

G2 can shoot very well in day and night.. ( only slow )..
