My one MAY be for sale fairly shortly.

It's a bit "used" cosmetically, but the lens itself is in perfect nick and the AF is also fast and accurate.

Here's pics of the lens and box (got the leather case too). Take a look at the gallery in my sig for examples. Pretty much all those shots were taken with the 70-200.

Date code....? Don't know what that is. Serial number under the collar is 008993 though.

you can locate the date code right on the rear lens mount, it should look something like this : US1234

it's used to identify when the lens was made. thanks!

It's a bit worn, but appears to be UJ0503

A bit old.. 1995, but still works great, as has been proved over and over again...
