My battrey sucks. Are there any other compatable batteries that I can buy to replace the ons that came with the camera?

Thanks.

My best friend has an S100 and I have an S110. Our batteries last pretty well. How long are you getting out of a charge?

Don't forget that you can turn your LCD off and use the optical viewfinder. That will add a ton of life to your battery. You'll probably want to go to the LCD for anything closer than about 10 feet, though.

This isn't a particularly valid thing to do but I'll take a wild guess at some of my battery capacity numbers. I could probably take about 200 non-flash pictures with the LCD off. It would be around 75 flash pictures with the LCD off. I'd guess it to be around 40 flash shots with the LCD on and not being too generous with the time the camera is on and not shooting. If I'm doing a lot of viewing and looking at the LCD for long periods of time to compose a frame, or whatever, the battery life goes way down. I've gotten as few as 15 shots out of it but it could just as easily been 0 shots.

If you're comfortable with the camera, the standard lithium battery should last quite nicely. I haven't had very good luck cycling lithium batteries but you might try that. Just kill it right down in the camera and then charge it right up. It may help to do that 3 or 4 times.
