I watched this lizard try to swipe a bug from this spiders web for his lunch, he himself became lunch......not as focused as I would like, but it happened so fast

Thats a writing spider, folklore says if you disturb them they write your name in their web and come and get you later, but they are good sized spiders, I watched this lizard try for a bug for 20 minutes, until he finally jumped on the web to get the bug, and thats when the spider went from zero to warp factor 9, he spun a web around him so fast it was unreal

Haha, i love those spiders, they get so freaking huge, but I've never heard of one biting a person.
They are everywhere in the summer down here in Fla.

holy cow!!! I know those spiders got big but that thing is ridiculous!!! I didn't know they ate lizards either...poor Mr.Lizard

I would not be able to go outside knowing those beasts roamed......I took some pics of what I thought was a huge spider.....lol.I was taking my life in my hands doing so.....I am such a wimp with spiders.......of size....

these particular ones are harmless I believe. I've heard they're good to have around, they just look scary as hell!!!

Give us some scale here...how big are these spiders? If that window pane is in scale, I'd say at least a few inches across?
