d30 best parameters help?

hi

i am a new user of the d30, i know this is a much talked about subject but could someone please advise me on the best setup of this camera possible for picture quality as i have obviously heard of the shortfalls of this still excellent camera?

Hello

Use raw format. Then You do it in the computer.

You may change wb and everything after in the PC. Newer use JPG. You have then started a now way back trip….

It is also better too get a bit darker (under exp) pictures and the correct it in eg PhotoShop.

Un sharpen is often needed for buildings etc.
