Sigma lens opinions

Perferably i'd like to go with canon, but i get alot more magnifcation for much less price, and i'd like to start taking some football pictures.

I have that lens and I love it. You are pretty safe going for Sigma EX series lenses. I've yet to have a lemon from that range.

My only question would be--how come most of all other sites have the same lenses (especially the Sigma brand) a lot more expensive than this site?

Just realize that Froogle is not the one selling those lenses so be sure to check out the actual vendor that you'll be dealing with to make sure that you're not going to get ripped of by them.

I have the 120-300 F2.8 EX and aside from it being a huge lens I can't say enough good stuff about it. It is even good enough for astrophotography! ...at least the moon as is. I'm getting a 2xTC in my next order to make it a 600@ F5.6 and that ought to be interesting!
That one rocks, but costs aroung $1900 and then 105mm filters aren't cheap!

I only use froogle as a refrence for pricing
