Very well done. I like the composition and tonal range. The human and dog, though small in the frame, add a lot to this imgage.

I really like seeing the water ripples coming from two different areas. The contrast is great as well.

I like the photo... and I think the conversion is very well done... but the colors in the frame is a bit distracting to me :) just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing!

Yes I had not yet got the hang of Mikes frames, agree the text is distracting.
Many thanks all for the C&C, I learn much more from constructive criticism than I do from any book.
The weird thing is I have always avoided Black and White photography, but since going digital there is nothing to lose, no wasted film stock so it has opened up the world of B&W for me and for some weird reasons I seem to have a much higher success rate with B&W even though the format is one I never had any enthusiasm over, but now I seem strangely attracted to the format.
