I recently went to an airshow in the Southwest, and while there took a side trip to Zion National Park. Just figured I'd post a few shots and get a few comments.
I already know I'm not all that great at this stuff, so don't worry about telling me they really suck. ;)

You are as good as many of us -- so there is not need to down rate your efforts ! :D

I liked all three pictures and each scene would be challenging as to what to include or exclude form the composition.

Look clear and colorful-- the propeller especially so. You obviously chose to limit the subject and that of course left me wondering a bit about the planes themselves.
#3: I love outdoor images.

I was really blown away (as the image loaded) by the sky-blue reflections in the river. So too, the details in the left wall of rocks might be an image all on its own.
Then the image contracted to fill my monitor. It looked great. But I must mention that "tradition" suggests that 50-50 splits should probably be avoided . Also, the image is pretty "right down the center" and, lacking a sky reference, may feel a bit closed in -- but here again, you may have been limited in your options.
So there is nothing wrong with these shots.
That said, I decided to;
(a) crop the foreground to emphasize height and
(b) alter the contrast in #3 so as to emphasize the rock formation -- >

PS: I recommend that individual file sizes be limited to about 100K
