I want one of those forms on a "Contact me" page so that people can email me straight from my website. I've read tons how to fix one, but I never managed to make it work. Grrr.
Can someone help me? I use DW.

There are a lot of different ways to do this. I'm working on a new form myself right now. If you give us a little more information about what you're trying to do and how you're trying to do it, plus any error messages, I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

I just want a simple "contact" form. The person should fill in their name, email address and then the message and send me. Basic stuff. :) I just want to learn how to fix one of those forms. I've put it all in DW before, but can't get my head around the whole "Send" feature. Yeah, I probably sound really stupid, but I've tried tons of times! It never manages to send. Hm.. :s

You need a PHP formailer on your server which the contact form 'uses' to send the mail. Your HTML form needs to know where this is located and what it is called. The formailer itself needs to be configured but it is easy if you follow the instructions they come with. Download the one above.

Hm, this sucks. I don't think my server takes PHP. I'd need to upgrade.

Kaosmailer is another good free one you may want to look at. Search for "kaosmailer" and you'll go right to it.
