I'm sure that was the name of the show, so don't hate him for telling you the name of the show, hate the promoters for naming it that.
nice pictures.

It is the name, but i dont see how its offensive? care to explain and i shall change it.
 japshow as its a japanese car show, finale as its actually a drag racing championship, and the finals were today...

the term "JAP" was used in a derrogatory manner back in the WWII days

Well, it's the organizers who named it, not me, and i can't really think of another way to name the thread. Sorry if you find it offensive.

it's like calling vietnamese people "gooks".
Yes, the promoters/organizers should have come up with a better show name.
Anyways, nice shots.

Learn to be politically correct! Sheesh! :)
Cool photos, but who paints a 350Z pink?
That older blue car a 240Z?

Didn't see any of the new Civic Si' their huh? Getting mine this Friday (the 13th...) I know it's not a performance car but heard some people are doing some extreme things with them.
Just read your quote from Lincoln, think i'll get a shirt with that on it! Too funny.

sorry, not blaming you asylumxl, the organisers. i acutally emailed the organisers a while ago when they first started this event but I guess people in Europe dont see why. sad. but I emailed the BBB in the UK to give them a heads up.
ANYWHO, I like the shot of the pink Z33.
i wsh there was a Z33 sitting in the background instead of a JZA80 in the second pic.
good shots thought :)

the term "JAP" was used in a derrogatory manner back in the WWII daysBritish people haven't realised that yet.
There's another event called 'Japfest' in UK. The organiser's didn't name it to piss Japanese people off on purpose. They just don't know.

I suggest that you should contact the organisers about this issue

Being an old codger, I very much like the 240Z. All the shots are excellent, but that's my favorite car of the series.

First time I've used the kit lens in a while... It's not terrible, is it? As long as you aren't shooting something that's backlit.
Nice shots!

#2 would be awesome if it wasn't for the really harsh angle. People sure do get pissed around here about stuff that's not really relevant to photography, hell, I wouldn't care if those pics were taken at gaijinFEST or gringoSHOW, a good pic is a good pic.
