Did you run the "Retrieve photo sizes" during install?

Answered my own question. Will leave this here in case anyone else is as thick as I am. It appears that the new database needs these things calculated. Instructions are in the "Updating photo size database:" area of the instrucstions on upgrading to 2.0. that Pekka has so kindly already posted... Check your database to see if you need to do this!
