Photo folder gone

Ok, so when I created a new folder and tried to copy and remove all of my photos folders over I accidentally deleted it. Then during the time I sent in my ticket to when the systems administrators started to look for the folder they did a back up and overwrote everything. SO the dont have the folder anymore.

Now I did do a database backup. Does this backup include my photos or am I totally f'ed?

It all depends on their backup system. Certainly we backup daily onto multiple Ultrium and Dat tapes and don't re-use the same tape for some time. So they should be able to go back to a previous backup and restore your folder from that. But as I said... it depends on their way of doing it. It's worth asking again though.

I have been back and forth with them backup every week however they overide the data. So can anythng be done with my database backup that I did when I updated to 2.0?

I wans't going to update this soon. I wanted to wait a little longer, but IXWebhosting noticed that 1.5 allowed for phishing spam and shut me down. So I had to update.

The photos are not stored in the database so if the folder and contents is gone you have to get the files from your local harddrive.
