No thumbnails for nested gallery

i have created a group that has several groups in it. when you go to the group view there are no thumbnails below the folder. it looks like it tries to load and there is a space for it. has any one else had this problem?

That extra empty thumb is a reported bug.
Why you do not have any thumbs might be because you have chosen "popular thumbs"?

that was it, i had "popular" thumbs selected under group editor and i just changed it to random and there theya re.
