Unformatting Compact Flash Card

Hi all
Anyone can advise whether a formatted compact flash card can be unformatted?

Would appreciate advise soonest.

Yes it can. If you have Norton Utilities or some other sort of disk utility program, you can unformat as long as you haven't written anything to the card since the format occurred.

i tried NU but unformat can only work in dos mode.
this means i cannot unformat my microdrive/compact flash card.
any other softwares that can be used? would appreciate if some software can be recommended.
