Hi all,
Went to my second pro game tonight, Scottish Rocks v London Towers. I got my 70-200 f2.8 in at the start of the game I was packing my 85 1.8 and 50 1.4 in opposite pockets just in case, how ever a woman(Who I think was the rocks owners wife) came over during the middle of the 3rd quarter and asked me to stop shooting as I diden't have a press pass. I'm going to try to control my self and stop short of a rant. Their was people filming the game with video cameras! and other people taking photographs! aw well I diden't make an argument as I had come their to watch basketball and the photos were a nice extra so I just put my camera down.............its still bites at me! GGGGGGGRRRRRRRR

nice shots again allyv, I like #5 best, I don't think that player is going to stay on his feet.

Was at this game taking a few shots from the stands, I think when you pull out the 70-200 it changes peoples reaction to you.

But I know what you mean about everyones doing it, there are people there video recording the cheerleaders, and lots of poeple taking pictures with compacts and camera phones.

It must come down to lens size.

Last nights game was good, lots of good photo opportunities, decided to watch more of the game rather than take photos, keep the missus happy.

nice captures, but the contrast seems off and the WB could use some tweaking. #6 is a really good shot - capturing offense, defense and officiating all in one shot.

Totally agree with a bigger lens you look up to no good, don't really blame her for telling me to stop, I alos coud have made a huge thing out of it for the fact of people filming the game! I would think that would be more harmful than me taking photos!
