The vignetting of the 50 1.4 @1.4 on ff is pretty severe

They're the normal sized ones u get in most bars about 6 or 7 feet probably, the perspective does make it look small though :)

Just to apply a bit of football/volleyball advice...

Ok you've conquered the the dim lighting of the stadium, have a good shutter speed, and have the ball in the shot, now go for the facial expressions! lol...

maybe pick a table that's not stained next time. and i would use a high shutter to freeze action. too much blurr on the first picture, imo.

cue-ball's an unexciting pic.

what is the game called using those colored balls?

It's 8 ball pool, instead of one player being solids and one stripes like in north america one is yellow and the other red, the pockets are smaller and a few other slight rule differences but in the whole they're similar :) They weren't meant to be good pictures i just shared them because i was amazed to catch the moment of impact and thought the vignetting and DOF was an extreme example :)

Snooker is played on a 12"x6" table with 12 reds, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 brown, 1 blue, 1 pink and 1 black, it's also bloooooody hard to play well
