That's for used and new. The price for a new one is $2,807.63 and ships immediately. If your an Amazon Prime member two day shipping is free. I just bought my 1Ds MkII from Amazon.

Wrong, they have a USED 5D from as low as $2399! If you get the new unit quoted, it is $2807.

Rebates rumored to be starting the second half of this month.

Don't count much on price drop as through the years, near Christmas has always been associated with higher price tags.

BTW is anyone aware of any replacement for 5D or 1Ds II in near future? as prices and new sesors on entery levels are suggestive of some new higher end ones in the horizon.
