I bought a 30D, 24-70L, 50 f1.4 and 10-22mm online from a UK company last June, as well as a few filters and a Jobo Giga One microdrive. I received the camera and 10-22 a few days later, along with an 18-55 that I hadn't ordered, but the other items were delayed (despite being marked as in stock on the site). Having had second thoughts, I took the opportunity to swap the 50 f/1.4 on order for the 1.8. The remaining lenses arrived a few weeks, along with everything else except a 77mm UV filter.
I had emailed the company about the 18-55 and was told to send it back, and that I would be refunded the postage costs, so it was sent via a next day service.
Once everything but the 77mm UV filter had arrived, I emailed the person who had been dealing with my order to ask about my refunds and my UV filter, and was told that the accounts department was dealing with the refund of £140 for the 50mm lens; there was no mention of either the postage costs or the filter. I emailed again and received no reply, then heard from another employee of the company who advised me that the accounts department had already processed the refund and that I should receive a receipt for it within a couple of days.
A couple of weeks later, I emailed again, as the refund hadn't turned up in my bank account and I still didn't have the 77mm filter; also, the microdrive had died and was displaying error messages every time I turned it on, so I asked about returning it, and requested that they cancel the order for the filter and refund me the cost of that too. I received another email, again stating that the refund had gone through, and advising me to return the microdrive.
I have since received the refund for the 50mm lens, but I'm still owed money for both the UB filter and the postage I paid to send back the kit lens I hadn't ordered. I've emailed 5 or 6 times (to all the email addresses on their website, as well as the 2 people who dealt with my order) and had no reply, and can't make international calls during office hours. There's no way I'm sending the microdrive back, as I doubt I'd receive a refund for that, so I'm stuck with £99 worth of paperweight, as well as being owed roughly £60.
So what do I do now?
