Space: (Adobe RGB (1998), Colormatch RGB, ProPhoto RGB, sRGB IEC61966-1) What exactly IS this setting? What factors would be used to determine which one to select?

Size: This one seems self-explanatory, although, why would you want to save an image at a LARGER resolution than the source?

Depth: If JPEGs can only be 8 Bits/Channel I would assume changing this setting does nothing when saving in the JPEG format? What does Bits/Channel refer to exactly?

Resolution: Evidently 240 pixes/inch is the default. The range is between 1 and 999. I am not familiar at all with this setting. What factors would be involved in selecting the most appropriate value? Is this something to consider, or do you guys just generally leave this set at 240? What's the point?

Thanks in advance for any replies. I realize I could look this stuff up in the PS manual, but I find the insights and real-world experiences from the members of this forum much more valuable.
