$10k!!! If you paid $10k for a EF 500mm f4 MKI then your a FOOL!!! LOL. The new EF 500mm f4 MKII is $10.5K, not the MKI. Regardless its a huge chunk of money to only use the lens once in a while.

Thanks. When you are really good all you need is 50mm. I need 10x that at least so I'm not sure where that puts me. For the record my ghillie suit was at the dry cleaners. :D

I haven't touched my racecar since I got my 100-400, I use that lens an awful lot but want more reach without compromising quality.

conclusion: Racecar for sale, parts already being sold. haha

If this was from this weekend, I think my friend Anthong Whitmo was there shooting as well. I kept getting mad texts from him on all the eagle shots he was getting. Nicely done, maybe a cropping out the top of the image, what ever that is in the upper part is getting the attention of my eyes.

It all depends on how often the Eagles are fishing, sometimes its pretty often other times maybe 2 or 3 times in an afternoon....Its a blast

Much better, yeah he got tons of stuff, He also shot with the 800mm as well as the 500mm. But he is an ER nurse so I will most likely see some shots of his in like um, never. LOL.
