How busy are you??

October is CRAZY wedding season here in the states. I haven't had time to post one thing here in a while. Is everyone else super busy? I have 6 weddings alone this month. Only one in Nov. though and nothing in December as of yet. Plenty of family stuff booked though to get me through the holidays.

October isn't too busy for me as it's already COLD here. Only two weddings this month. Then it dies down considerably until May next year.

Jasen, I only shot about 5 weddings/year due to my OTHER job. I just finished one last weekend and now will start doing family photos for Christmas cards.

Yeah.....part time here only 5 a year.....hope to do more soon, but my FT job keeps me busy. Man I wish I could do more an get better faster....It's been a long 4 years, but I learning.

I agree October is crazy busy and november will be very busy for me too.

I'm not busy now, but in January i'll be as busy as a one legged man at an arse kicking contest. Right when all you people on the top of the world are resting. Hey, I can see a potential outsourcing arrangement... ;)

i have 2 more october weddings,1 nov,1 dec- then filling up for next year. Even though it is now a full time job- I would really like to only do 2 weddings a month and offer ultra great packages for LOTS of money :)

Swamped - this is only my first year doing weddings for non-family and friends, and I somehow ended up with 4 weddings in 5 weeks this October (bad planning!). Then it dies down for winter - only one in December, though I'm already pretty booked for next year, starting in February. I am only doing 2 weddings per month next year though and then will decide if I want to go full time the following year.

I was toatally swamped from the beginning of Sept. thru the past weekend! Aside from a few weddings throughout the winter months, it's portrait and Christmas card season here in New Hampshire.

I do look forward to doing the portrait and family sstuff here as well. Maybe slow down a bit, play some video games with my kids...yeah so what if they are only 4 and 4 months! :)

Good to see you all are staying busy though....
