Hi,
I have taken a few movies on the s45 but was holding the camera the wrong way up. When I go to view the movies on my pc they are shown
on their sides. Is there any way to rotate the saved movie so that I can watch them properly. I am using windows media player and RealOne Player. Thanks for any help. Simon.

Turn your PC monitor sideways
I have an S45 too, and like you, I've shot video sideways with it once. As far as I know, there is no way, or rather no program, to rotate the video image.
Please post if you find a way to do it.

I found a free tool that does this nicely. It's called ImageForge and is available at http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_imffw.html . Unfortunately, when I tried it, it also stripped out the audio. What I had to do was first used DVD2AVI to create a WAV file then specify that file to ImageForge as a sound file to merge when editing the AVI. That 2-step process worked nicely. Perhaps there's an easier way but I haven't found it yet.

VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/index) has also rotate filter (video/filters/rotate) and is free :D
