IXUS 400 - Stitch Modus not working

Hi!

Since some days the "Stitch Modus" of my IXUS 400 is not working anymore. Now if I turn the modus-wheel to "Panorama/Stitch Modus" the display looks like the first mode "automatic" and it also works that way.

I've already resetted the settings and experimented a lot but I cannot select the stitch modus. Please help me.

Sounds like somethings broken. Does panorama stitch mode appear when you select some other setting? (I'm thinking that the dial may have slipped?)
Looks like this may involve a trip back to CANON for the camera though.

Hmm that's possible.... although the Film and the Manual mode - between them lies the stitch mode - are working correctly (Order of the modes automatic, manual, stitch, film).

The raster of the dial also seems to work perfectly...
