View Full Version : Doing a fresh build on new server can I inpit the Pages Viewed number

I am in the process of moving to a new server (with thanks to Pekka for all his help) I am doing a fresh build as I want to take advantage of the fact that I now have Imagmagic.

My current site has had 171229 page views and I would like to carry this over onto the new server. Is it possible to manually enter it into a table, if so which one and what would be the best (easiest) way to do it.

Each exhibition has "COUNTER OFFSET" setting.
If you upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0 the counters are preserved. http://www.neil-rice.com/gallery/ seems correct.

Pekka that is correct yes. but I am building a new site @ http://www.ambrosiabbs.com/gallery and it will be a replica of the other one, what I would like to do is copy across the page hits from the old server to the new.
