Have had my 10D for about a month. I took this picture of this window which was just put into the new sanctuary at my church. I was so excited about the reflection

The stained glass artist is so talented. I just sat there with my camera and watched him work during the installation. There is nothing like watching an artist in his zone.

Beautiful images and exquisite saturated color . The "cross" as a bonus !
The second reminded my of the Kaleidoscopes that I toyed with years ago.
Hard to say how to improve on these !

Exquisite!
My only desire would be,. in the second image,. if you had been far enough back to allow the rest of the cicular inset to be shown in full,. the light cast on its interior :tunnel" shape is 50% of the beauty of the image.
(of course there may be a good reason that part was cropped out,. which I wouldn't know because it was ,.. cropped out
Lovely images.

I likey!
Very nice pictures. The foreground is dark - but that's good because there isn't enough of it to bring down the picture as a whole, and also because having a lighter foreground would kill the effect of the glass. The colours have come out real nice.
I can tell by your post that you're really pleased with these - and you should be too ;)

Foreground was dark on purpose.
Stained glass artist said the get the perfect effect there should be no light shining on the windows. So all lights were turned off and I did not use a flash. When compared to the shots I took with interior lights on, the difference was huge. The color was so much better in the dark with the sun coming through the windows.

Hi Tlooney,
I agree, that's what I mean - my post about the foreground lighting was positive not negative :)
