I like this photo alot (my boys!) but it is front focused on the hand and this also maybe spoils the composition a bit.

Mark,

It is an absolutely delightful capture, a moment you will treasure always.

However, it seems (on my monitor, anyway) that you have oversharpened it a bit, to the point where the older boy's hair looks frizzy, as do his eyelashes. Tone down the sharpening and you've got a real gem of a photo.

I don't mind the hand grabbing the ear; it's very common for a baby to do that, and seems natural to me (father of two girls... ;-) )

Thanks sledjhamer, you're right about the sharpening. I haven' yet figured out how % and pixel radius interact.
