Great, that is all I needed. I just started in the photography world (above water) and now this. I don't have the 10D but how far down the line will it be before they make a housing for the 300D. I take a cruise every year and I like to snorkel. I might as well sign the DIVORCE papers now, cause I can just see it comming.   >:(

UW equipment and photography is a pretty big industry. First time I see the housing for the 10D, I think they had it the D30/D60. Always more UW stuff for Nikon for some reason.
I have some awesome pics of my underwater engagement with a point & shoot underwater camera. Hmmm. maybe equipment doesn't matter. :o

Remember the old adage, "Sometimes it's best to ask for forgiveness than for permission". Go for it.

Well, I e-mailed for a price quote.
I certainly don't have everything, and by the time I could possibly afford it I'd be wanting the next DSLR.... but it's healthy to dream!
I wonder if any place would rent one of these housings.

Ok, this is what I see thru the crystal ball...
...It is coming to me...
clearer....
...I see it...
A-HA!
...There is the group called L-caholics Anonomous, it starts in major cities and spreads out. (This is for those of us with Canon L glass and can't get
enough of it. I'm one of them as I have the Canon 16-35mm F2.8L lens.)
...Next there will be cone a support group much like that of the L-caholics anonomous for 10D users and later on 300D users. I see a rift that they are having issues in some places that the colour of the body is what is causing this. This is only in cretain places, though. Most places are willing to put aside differences, after all they are both DSLRs.
...Another group of support might become available in the not too distant future for those of both genders called "my marriage ended cuz of that camera" and this will be an all male or all female club. There will not be intemixing as former husband and wife might see each other and all hell breaks loose again.
...Then of course there will be a Jerry Springer Show about this that "My spose loves the camera more than me!" This is where rifts lead to people sleeping with their camera instrad of their spouse. Is that cheating??? Then the next Jerry Springer show is "My spouse cheated on me with a DSLR!!!"
...Then America as we know it goes into a state of...to be determined
...the crystal ball seems to be fuzzing out. Yes that's all folks that's all we have time for today. Please join us again. I can't be sure that it will work next time.

You forgot about the new legislation which legalizes marriages between man and camera. There will also be one shortly for marriage between man and lens, man and flash, and man and tripod.
I am 3rd on the list for a license to marry my camera...oh boy, I can't wait!! ;)

So around summer last year I bought a powershot G3 and an EOS 7Elan. Fell in love with the digital but needed speed for focus and flexibility of lenses so I then added a 10D. Then of course I needed an Epson 3200 scanner. Then a 4 light Alien Bee's studio getup with backdrops, various add add ons, a Sekonic L-358 Meter.
Then I decided I couldn't live without a mac after spending some time with a neighbor who's a commercial photographer, so I ordered a G5 Dual 2Ghz with a 23" HD Flat Display. Converted a spare bedroom to my own office for editing and table top photo work and just yesterday ordered an Epson 2200. I now need a new desk to go with this ensemble.
I am truely enjoying digital photography. It's been an expensive first few months but now that I'm in the groove I'm just absolutely enthralled with this new world I've discovered.

Simple! If the 10D is getting married, then little sibling 300D will be on hand to take the shots. Just have to make sure that the groom (or bride?) doesn't get too close to the 300D... as that could be another sequel in the Jerry Springer saga...
"My partner cheated on me with another DSLR!"
