Formula D - Irwindale

It was a long day with funky weather and little water or food for me. Luckily, I managed some shots that I'm happy with. Here's one I like at 1/125th:

i don't get how people can be online with pictures sorted before the event is even over (the podium was awarded shortly after 9pm)...

maybe i'm just burned out from 20 hours over 2 days at the track that I don't want to even look at my photos for at least the next 20 hours...

I know how you feel. Was working off of 4.5 hours of sleep and a wicked hangover so I left before the end. If I had stayed any longer, I would have fallen asleep in the infield.:)

I was in the photographer's area on the right side of the infield. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that the racing line was probably 20-30 feet from us.
