Dubai: Under construction

Dubai is a booming city in the Middle East. There's so much construction and reconstruction going on throughout the city. It's crazy. 3 sets of man made islands are only half the story.
Here's my attempt to capture what has become a commonsight in Dubai

I would have preferred to see some faces and more backround that says "Dubai" but thats just my 2 cents.

A lot of construction, huh? You are correct. Today, Dubai alone has over 17% of the world's construction cranes in use.

My wife's ex designed one of the Palm Islands ($20 million richer for his trouble) and is building a super fancy hotel and apartment complex..construction began 3 weeks ago. He owns 51% of a medium-size refinery there (he supplies DoD) and he has a shipping middle-man company that coordinates the contracts between refineries, shipping companies w/ships, and the buyers.

I'm flying over at mid-construction and pre-grand opening to take pics. (He's already paid a deposit). I'm looking forward to adding this to my portfolio.

U.A.E.'s purpose is ramp up tourism...it's one of the most liberal countries in the mid-east region.

:(:(:( too bad, i am from U.A.E. and still i can't see great nice things here.
Dubai is nice but it is lost city because people there can kill for money (never happened yet) just to show you how people are busy and running after money, thats why buildings are everywhere just to get high rents, even my smallest quiet area got alot of buildings because of Dubai Bombing building developement, and that the tallest Tower in the world in dubai soon is nothing to me if it will not make life better, everything is doubles expensive and dubai is crazy city now.
I have a pic of a building under construction in dubai, so i am poor and i am sure dubai later will be for rich people only, too bad.
