I love the colors! Very nice and calming.

I would like to see a bit more of her face, and maybe crop out the bit of something on the left.

The idea is great. But, the image was created way too close. If you have a beach scene, them show the beach and a big area of sand. A child should be photographed, at a distance, to give the feeling of a small child.

The image is very dark and the color balance is suspect. I'm posting your image with it much brighter and with the color balance corrected.

I thought the first pic, the origional, was a bit dark. The one above is heaps better, very much lighter and gives a better feel to it. But Love the concept :)
