is there a Low Battery Icon on S400?

I just got a S400 for X-mas and I cannot find a battery icon that shows the charge decreasing. Is there one or am I missing something?

It does indicate low battery, but it does so when you're just about out of power. You can charge the Lithium-Ion battery before it gets that low - there's no "battery memory" like you'd get with a Ni-Cad battery. A single charge good for plenty of pictures, and doesn't take that long to charge.

That's what I thought..Sad that they don't have a progressive indicator to let you know it is starting to deplete.
