I wonder what values of Sharpness, Luminance Smoothing and Color Noise Reduction people usually use for G series cameras for different ISO values.
Thanks

On the few images that I tested in Photoshop CS, no values gave me better results than BreezeBrowser with no noise reduction at all.
I know this isn't what you asked, but I a lot of people have had high hopes for the Adobe RAW Converter, as did I... and I'm back to BreezeBrowser.
Cheers,

Thanks for the response, Don.
I actually like ACR. Temperature, Tint, Exposure and Shadows give lots of flexibility. I can basically do all color correction during the convertion step. Unfortunately, the noise level is too strong. Did anybody else notice that?

With your winning recommendation, perhaps I'll try it again... although I tend to do all those other things after the conversion. And with the noisy conversions that we've both apparently experienced, you're in trouble right out of the gate. :)

The ACR adds 25% sharpening by default,.. could that be contributing to the additional noise?

I tried to adjust sharpness to 6-10, luminance smoothing and color noise reduction to very high values. I still got pictures that were too noisy comparing to BreezeBrowser.
