3 days ago we spotted this :

after numerous phone calls by ourselves and the neighbours to the RSPCA they eventually responded..

Firefighters to the rescue:

Nearly there:

And finally :

after 3 days of hunger and no water, the firebrigade were inches away and the cat decided to climb down the back of the building on its own lol..

I have to say a huge thanks to the guys of our firebrigade for being so light hearted and having a good laugh (People may say this is a waste of resources but the firefighters begged to differ) what a fantastic bunch.

BTW the photo's were taken by my wife as i was at work (but personally i feel she caught the action unfold nicely) if its in the wrong section please feel free to move it..

Well taken, I like the last two in combination - the cat's there and then as soon as the guy gets there and peeks over the ledge it's buggered off :) Very comical and good on the guys for going out there to rescue it. :)

These shots clearly show why you never see cat skeletons on a roof or in trees- they get down themselves.

I can top that, when i opened the door yesterday to leave for work the cat was back on the very same chimney and still remains there. Either the dumbest feline in the world or it has a great sense of humour.
