CB Junior owners please help

Hello all you CB Junior bracket owners...I'm about to purchase this and I realize the "bracket grip" is on the right side. Is this bracket balanced enough that I can just hold the camera normally or am I going to need to hold it by the handle?

Seems odd to put it on the side of the shutter release, but maybe I'm just an idiot.

Hold the camera as normal, you should find it very comfortable.
It's hinged on that side so that in portrait mode the flash is on top of the camera so that you can either have the shutter release on top or use the vertical grip in its normal orientation.
