...support G5 Raw files?

I'v e already got a 10D and I have just ordered a G5 as an 'always with me' camera. I still want to shoot raw and I still want to avoid the canon raw convertor. Has anyone used CS and a G5 raw?

I don't think so. See http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/31e7e.htm

I use Photoshop CS and the G3. It does support the Powershot RAW files no problem. What I have read however, is that the Adobe RAW converter is...
Pflor: You're not missing much with the Adobe RAW plugin. It has some nice features but its output quality is not up to par with the Canon SDK-based converters such as BreezeBrowser or YarcPlus. Also, what's frustrating for me with the Adobe product is that it automatically tries to correct your original white balance to what it thinks is right. So forget about using Custom WB with this plugin. The converter in Photoshop CS is a little better but still has the same white balance quirk.
I am not sure about the inability of Photoshop to use the custom white balance, it seems to me that it can be adjusted manually without a problem. But you will have to try it to see if it works for you.

I use CS for converting RAW from my DRebel and it seems to work fine with WB. You can adjust the WB if you want, but there is a pull-down menu in the converter that allows for preset settings, and one of those setting is labeled "As Shot", which does exactly what it sounds like it does. So, using custom WB should not be an issue with Photoshop CS.

Thanks for your replies. Off to pick up my G5 now :D :D
Just occured to me I still have breezebrowser kicking about too, that will probably do the trick too.
Thanks again
