Unfortunately, I had to use Fuji S5500 :( It was actually Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007 promotion!

Looked a bit blue, a bit flat and a bit soft. I touched color cast, levels and sharpening.

Great choice for the fixer upper Dwight...those ladies remind me of some great gals, I used to run with in my younger years, (in my dreams,) no, really...
Sporty ladies are cool, in my book...now, on the more serious side...I like what you did there with adjusting the blues and the sharpness and flatness issues...This leads me to ask you, did you do it in Photo Shop?

Nope, PhotoImpact 11, an under $100 program I have used for years, but all photoediting software should do these trivial things. I am planning to convert to PhotoShop (I have the version) but then I'm planning on converting to RAW shooting, too, just not right away.

Good to know...I'll have to compare the features with the many software programs I own and rarely use...Might as well start using one, to improve on IQ...
These results you created are real nice...
I'm getting a couple of longer L's this month and Photo Shop is getting put of again, so a simpler program is welcome...
RAW takes up an additional half, of each of my flash cards...
I intend to start shooting RAW for image insurance...

@ DwightMcCann:
Thanks! It really looks much better after the correction.
@ aIpha:
I was a bit surprised too ;) The yellow ones were "Windows Vista team", and others were "Office 2007 team". Didn't expect them at Microsoft technical event and I didn't carry my 20D
@ BradT0517:
Pictures were taken at congress center, but it really looks like an airport :D
Thanks everyone for your comments!

I think it is still a bit tinted ... I set the neutral color using her socks and then lightened a touch.

Thanks again Dwight! I've altered image once again, following your advice. But I think that small amount of tint should be present as building was illuminated with bluish light - maybe reflection from the walls etc.

Two things: (1) I like skin to look good and blue light destroys it so I don't care how I remember the original scene I still like to get the whites white so that skin is appealing, (2) I would suggest that you select the bright area out of the image and then adjust the contrast so you have a full range in what's left ... that bright area is blown (and should be) anyway so more brightness won't hurt it any and will bring the shadows up in the important part of your image. But each person has their own interpretation.
