Hired one of these over the weekend from store in London - was (almost?) brand new - to try before possibly buying one. This was the newest LED version.
The Spyder worked a treat and would be recommended to anyone wanting to porfile thier monitor.
However the Printer Profiling was a sham as the software kept 'tripping' over itself and I could not get through this part of the whole process.
I use a PC with Win XP (please no comments that I should be using a Mac) and found it very frustrating to spend a great deal of time with nothing to show (on the printer side of things).
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with this - I am sure it is as a result of buggy software?
Does anyone have a way of contacting ColourVision for help or do they have a user forum?
Given that this would cost just under £500 in UK, can anyone reccommend something from another manufacturer that performs similar functions (monitor and printer profiling) for a similar price?
