Hey folks... The is my second attempt ever at Motorsports. I'm looking for tips and advice in an effort to get better. Thanks in advance. Shot with a Canon 20D with 28-70.

The composition of the shots look good. The framing is tight and any extra pavement is in front of the riders. Using a slower shutter speed will give more feeling of movement but make it more challenging to have sharp shots. Backgrounds are also a big part of these shots so look for the least distracting places that still have good action. Using a shorter depth of field will also allow you to focus more on the rider and less on the background. Looking forward to seeing more.

Nice shots, good framing.
Slower shutter and something in the 70-200 zoom range would give you more flexability.
Post more :D

Basically what 900SPG said. Backgrounds, Wheel blur. You may need to up the exposure a tiny bit or drop the contrast a little. Bikes are a bugger when it comes to shadows.
Great work though. Love to see more.

Ditto the above.
Shooting motorsports in bright sunshine can be a so'n'so as it is too bright to go for wide apertures with slower shutter speeds. Some ND filters might help, but it isn't much of an issue in the UK ;-)
